Girls who went dress shopping, how did you know the 'one'?

I am so freakin confused. Plus I'm indecesive by nature, I'm a woman and a Libra! HELP!

I have a feeling I'm gonna do the same thing! Yet I still don't feel ready to buy! I really want the new lines to come out, but then I'll make it more confusing for myself Urgh!

i was looking for dresses before even getting engaged and everytime i saw this particular dress i just LOVED it...so when i went dress shopping i tried it on (during a trunk sale) and got such a good deal!!!

150 dresses later and i still am unsure, but hopefully will know more tommorow.

I thought i wanted a very over the top dress, now i feel like i want somethign more traditional.

Thats what my cousin told me, you can go and go, but you'll know the one cause you keep thinking back to it even when you find something you like. But I keep going back to 3!!! lol

07er crashing...

I went to many shops and tried on many dresses (at least 50). I went to the Wedding Salon of Manhasset, Kleinfeld, Bridal Relfections, and tried on many designer gowns. They were all beautiful, but I did not know how to choose one of any of the others because many of them looked nice.

Then I asked to try one on that I saw at a showcase because my mom had liked it, but I was just appeasing her - it was the opposite of what I thought I wanted. I put it on, went out and looked in the mirror, and just burst into tears. And I am SO not like that - I didn't even cry when FH proposed. I just KNEW it was the one for me. So I am a believer in you will know it when you find it. And be open to anything - you never know how something will look on you.

You have over a year until your wedding. You have plenty of time to keep looking. IMO, you shouldn't rush into anything until you are sure, or you will wind up being a two dress bride!

I think I have it narrowed down to 3. I never got 'the one', my mother is crying, omg I don't want to take this dress off feeling, there are just 3 that I keep thinking about. I'm goign to take the bm's on a road trip to help me decide.

a friend told me you will know it's the one if you put it on look in the mirror and cry i tried on so many dresses one made me cry.

definitely take your time in choosing that 'one' dress. it is so hard especially when you start seeing other brides in their dresses. choose something that is flattering to you, even though it may look great on somebody else doesn't mean it'll look good on you. i ended up changing my mind after my dress was ordered. thankfully i had time to change it. go with your gut.

Yea I've already had problems coordinating schedules. The dresses I like are in different stores too
