question about printing own invites - 'laser rated' paper?

I am considering ordering the invites below to print up for my RD invites. The web site states that the paper is 'laser rated.' I know that inkjet rated paper can be bad in a laser printer -- but can you use laser rated paper in an inkjet printer - or will I have problems?

(I'm also a bit worried I'll even be able to print these myself, but I'm hoping I can!)

And another question -- do you think that translucent ribbon is purple or blue?

the ribbon looks blue to me.

I dont know anything about printers, but I wanted to say those invites are really really nice. If you aren;t able to print them up and if you have good handwriting (or know someone who does), they would beautiful as handwritten invitations!

Yeah, no idea about the printer, but the ribbon looks blue.

I've printed on cards similiar to those in my inkjet printer. You shouldn't have any problems. But buy a few extra, I find that cards jam alot more often.

Not sure about laser paper working in an inkjet (but you are correct about the other way definitely not working - i.e., inkjet paper not working in laserjet).

But the ribbon looks purple-ish to me. Definitely not purple, and not blue. More like a deeper periwinkle?

I'd say blue ribbon.

As for the printer. I strongly suggest findnig someone with a laser printer. It really does look 100% better. The ink may bleed on laser paper.
