Question for those doing a sand ceremony...

Are you going to have your dj or musicians play music during the sand ceremony??

I went to a wedding where they did the sand ceremony and had a song playing, it was beautiful!!

I had not thought about this, but I guess I should... great, another song to have to figure out. I do not know any sand ceremony songs for them to play... I'm having a string trio so that should be nice.

Honestly, our sand ceremony is not that long, so we are not doing a song.

Yes we had a song played. The speech the officiant was saying before the sand was poured was a little long--so we had our string trio begin playing very softly as she spoke--and then we poured the sand.

They played 'Come What May' from Moulin Rouge.

We had them play some music softly in the background. I didn't pick any special song or anything for that though. It was just nice 'mood' music.

Mrs.ptobe, you don't have to worry if you don't have a specific song in mind. As long as she knows you are doing the sand ceremony, she will play something nice. If you want to pick something specific to play, just tell her.
