Nine days til our wedding & we still didn't pick our song!

We're undecided. It was going to be 'Always' by Atlantic Star but we found out that is his cousin's song. Now we're considering 'All My Love'(I think thats the title) with Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadt. We aren't sure and time is running out.....

We're probably going to use 'By Your Side' by Sade. Great song! Check it out if you can, it's on her album 'Lovers Rock'

I was listening to shania twain today novermberbride..
what about 'from this moment on' or 'youre still the one'
I am not using them but I think they are beautiful wedding songs

My DH and I decided on our wedding song - 2 nights before the wedding...so if you're only 9 days away then you're ahead of the game - LOL.
We never had 'a song', so there were so many we loved. We chose 'All my life' by Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadt (i think that was one you considered too). I get chills when I hear it.

Who cares if it is his cousin's song? Lots of people use the same songs. If you love that song then you should use it.

I agree with Michele. If 'Always' has a special meaning for you guys, you should go ahead and use it!!!! Don't pick another song that doesn't have any real meaning just b/c your cousin had 'Always'.

februarybride, thats the song we're thinking of. I got the title wrong.
I left it up to Jimmy. He can pick whatever song he likes better. I like them both.

We are using 'You're Still the One' by Shania...we have been together 5.5 yrs and through some rocky times, so the words fit us. But we went through about 10-15 songs before we decided...
Among them:
I Love you Just the Way You Are - Billy Joel
Your Song - Elton John
I Love You - Climax Blues Band
It Had to Be You - Harry Connick, Jr. version
At Last - Etta James (I fought hard for this one)
I'll Always Love You - Taylor Dayne
I Couldn't Love You More - Sade
I Forgot That Love Existed - Van Morrison

and country songs, if you're a fan, are a huge gold mine of love songs...

We are using the song 'For You' by Kenny Lattimore. I have never heard this song at a wedidng before. In fact, I never heard the song at all before I met my FH. The song came on the radio on our second date and he said that this was the song he wanted to dance to on his wedding day. Who knew!?!
