So Frustrated!!! (Real Estate Rant...) need hugs big time!

After about a year of looking around NJ to find a place to settle with FH (he is a PO so we 'have to' live there...)....we have come up with nothing. Finally. we decided recently to look into hoboken, weehawken, and edgewater. Even downtown Jersey City (bc if it's not newport...it ain't happening)....so....flashback to last monday. We were walking down Washington in Hoboken and decided to pop into a prudential office. We met an agent who was really nice, really down to earth, not pushy...blah blah magical. She took FH on a tour and to look at some condos (eeeeeeek!) last thursday. He lives in a small apartment, so these things look like freaking tremendous compared to what he comes from. I get a call from him 'omg you have to come see these places, you're going to love them....yadda yadda yadda'...WELL.....yesterday....here comes Ms. Long Island New York Huge Backyard Me.....into these teeeeney tiiiiiney condos (eh hem bathrooms)....i mean...some of them made my heart race bc i just felt crowded and there wasn't even furniture!!!!!! I feel like we went from looking at these ginormous houses to these little litter boxes that are a fortune bc they are on the hudson. So there is dissapointment Numero Uno. Progress to the inevitable conversation about prequalifications and preapprovals. FH just started working as a NJ Transit PO in January. Minus training and academy, he started about 3 months ago. Yes, he makes decent money. However....IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII am still a student. This september begins my final semester of HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL and then i'm a nurse. So right now I make ::icon for peanuts here:: and this is not helping. I called Wells Fargo a little while ago. As of right now, what we will qualify for is just enough to buy Zootopia tickets
We are getting married in april. This whole semester I will be useless bc I have my preceptorship (nurse code for internship) and then i graduate and sit for my boards. Before you know it...April 5th will be here and i'll be walking down the isle....and what??? going back home to my parents house????? What do i do??? Do they have programs out there for people who are graduating soon and will be making great money shortly?!?!?!?! I am so frustrated right now....i'm contemplating being a surrogate AND selling 9/10 of my eggs!!! Any words of encouragement or info will be greatly appreciated.

This can be a very stressful and exhausting process especially they way things are with mortgages right now. The only advice I have for you is that my FH is a mortgage broker and if you are interested he may be able to find a mortgage that fits the needs of you and your fh. Because he is a broker and not a bank he can go to a ton of different banks to find the right one for you. FM me if you are intetrested and good luck
