[I don't personally think the martini bar is neccessary except for the look of it as they make martinis anyway.
I agree with GinaZ , unless you have a HUGE martini crowd that will drink nonstop from it, I wouldn't think it's worth the added expense!
We added the mashed potato bar. It was good..but nothing SPECTACULAR!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Can I just say how much I love this thread and how thankful I am that it exists!!!! ok- another question- sorry Like I said previously- got the letter (yay) but have neglected to call to make an appt cuz of some internal family drama but I wasnt sure if it was something I "had" to get on top of right away or could I put it off for a few weeks??? I am a procrastinator at heart and right now to get 4 different people's schedules together is not at the top of my list. but if you think I should then I guess I will do it Let me know your thoughts. thanks!!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Question for all of you ladies:
Do we have to pay for children under 2? My niece and FG (same person ) is going to be 1.5 y.o. in October. Just wondering if I have to pay 2/3 for her or if she was free. (I doubt she's free, but it makes no sense to pay so much for someone who will eat so little! (And who could probably eat some of her parents' meal and be happy!) Could I not count her in my count and choose NOT to pay for a plate for her? (Seat her on her mother's lap? Or even in a separate seat but not get a meal for her?)
TIA!

I was told as long as they just eat off of their mother's plate they are free. If you are ordering them a dinner then they are 1/3 off. I'm guessing at that age, they will probably eat their dinner at the cocktail hour.

AWESOME! Not that it's a ton of money - but it's not worth it in my opinion. She can eat whatever Mom and Dad don't, and will eat at the cocktail hour. Thanks to both of you!

Even some of the older kids at my wedding ate most of their meal at cocktail hour. I think they got chicken fingers at dinner, but I think they were already full from before.

FYI - Met with PWP today. They were very nice and helpful. I don't have the extra money to hire their DOC.
Also, met with Richard for flowers. He was soooo nice. Plus, he price was really reasonable!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Quick question for DIY centerpiece brides:
I'm trying to get a floral quote for personal flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres) and rose petals to scatter on the tables. My CPs are candles, photo frames, and rose petals.
Will Fox Hollow set up the CPs including scattering the rose petals, or do I need to ask my florist to scatter them?
Also, who decorates the cake with the flowers? Fox Hollow or the florist? We're geting the cake that comes with our package, and the only decoration will be some flowers and a cake topper that I'm going to be getting this week.
Thanks in advance!!

From what I have heard from the girls here, yes, the Fox Hollow will scatter the petals for you. I bought fake (but real-looking) leaves to scatter and I am hoping they will do this!
And as far as flowers for the cake -- I think it depends on how you go about it. My florist would put flowers on my cake, she said, for $75. Fox Hollow charges $100 and I think the baker does it then. See if your florist will do it and how much he / she would charge. I am working with just one woman who works out of her home for flowers, so I don't think it's a big deal for her to do it - but at a bigger operation, it might be, not sure.
