Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Did anybody get quotes just for uplighting for WGP? Curious as to about how much it would run me. I dont need any other lights as that's being provided by my live band. Unfortunately, they dont have the equipment for uplighting =(

Who are you working with at Fox Hollow? Is anyone working with the perfect wedding planners?

I was thinking about using the PWP, but I think i am going to research other coordinators first to compare prices (they seemed a bit high to me). We would only be using them for a day of coordinator though.

Thanks.

I ended up contracting Glen from Prestige Event Lighting (based on the recommendation of a previous bride). Same price.

What color are you doing for uplighting? I'm still on the fence....

Honestly, I think I got it for a hair cheaper (like $850?) Check out Elegancia Entertainment (they do lighting only as well)- good to compare right?

Elegancia can change the colors of the uplights throughout the night, I am going to do some type of purple/pink and also amber for a portion of the night. I want romantic during dinner so the amber wash would probably work best and compliment the candles then.

Have you seen uplighting in that room? Looks AMAZING!

I have the option to change colors throughout the night as well. Right now I am thinking of doing lilac color to play off the color of inside my orchid centerpieces. Mine are sorta similar to yours using natural orchids and they are green and the inside is purple/lilac.

The room really transforms with the uplighting. I originally wasn't going to fork over additional money for it but after I saw some pictures and how much of a difference it made I gladly paid.

i would definitely look into other DOC's, PWP is really expensive. I think they wanted $1100 for 2 DOC's the day of. A lot of other places ranged between $400 and $800.

Thanks for the info! From what I've seen so far, the places that are charging less are offering the exact same things!
