Mini Review: Bourne Mansion, Angelica Glass, Timeless Treasures, Mia, Flower Michele and MORE!!!!

Here is my mini review. I am still working on writing a full review and posting pictures. These were just the major vendors.

Bourne Mansion A
- I had Steve as MD and Nicolette as my Bridal Attendant. I must say, they did a great job. Service and food were fabulous! There were a few things that Steve did that I didn't like. They really didn't bother that much the day of, because I was just so happy and excited. Nothing else really mattered than getting married.

Here were the issues: i.e. He didn't let my guests toss petals at us when we walked down the aisle after the ceremony. He said that since I hadnt told him at my final meeting, he couldnt let it happen.
He didn't let my guests do shots unless me and my husband were present to authorize it. Kinda stupid, being that all the guests are over 21. Whatever. I knew that before we booked, but it did bother some guests.
Some of my vendors felt he was abrasive, and I also agree.

These were minor issues, but just some things I thought people should know.

Angelica Glass A++++++ and beyond
I cannot rave enough about this person. She is so incredibly talented, sweet, and really great to work with. I love her style and I was so honored to have her photograph my wedding. I will post my proofs once I receive them. I know they will be absolutely beautiful. Out of all the vendors, I rate her as my #1 and my favorite.

Ray from Timeless Treasures A++++++
Ray is my #2 and second favorite vendor. He arrived much earlier as planned and what a great surprise. He was so awesome and unobtrusive, Eric and I loved him! Eric really doesnt like being in videos, but he was really impressed that Ray was capturing everything and he didn't even know Ray was there. Still waiting for the video, but I know that will be awesome too.

Flower Michele A+++++
John was such a great person to work with, even before I won the giveaway. He really did a fabulous job with the ceremony, reception, bouquets, lighting, cocktail hour etc. The centerpieces were so beautiful. Exactly what I envisioned. I was really going for a natural, garden feel. He really got my idea and made it come true. Thanks to John and Flower Michele for making all my flower dreams become reality on my wedding day. I couldnt have asked for better flowers. #3 favorite vendor.

Wedding Salon of Manhasset A+ My Dress by Reem Acra A++++++
I looooovvvvvved my dress! From the second I tried it on, I knew I had to have it. Alterations were done by Kasey. She did a fantastic job. The top of the dress needed work done and she made it fit me perfectly. I couldn't have had a more beautiful dress. I received so many compliments on it.

Mia from BL A+
Arrived early, worked on me, my mom, and 2 bridesmaids. She did such a beautiful job. Very sweet person too.

Salon Osio A-
My regular hair stylist had an emergency with her hand the night before my wedding and was unable to do my hair on the wedding day as planned. When I arrived to Osio, they already had a backup person ready to do my hair. She did a good job, but I was disappointed that my regular girl couldnt do it. Also, the girl who did my hair didn't put enough hair spray so my hair didn't really last that long. But its ok, I like my hair straight anyway. It had enough bounce and volume for me.

All Star Limo A+
Charlie was the driver and he arrived 20 mins early to my house. I couldnt have been more happy. I am very particular when it comes to being punctual, so I was very happy to see him there waiting for us. I hate being late to anything. So got us to the Bourne earlier as planned. Picked up the boys from Hyatt in Hauppauge early and got them to the Bourne early too. This was a big plus. Picked us up in a van at the end of the night on time.

Michelle from Defining Moments A+
Michelle did an awesome job helping with the planning and was a great DOC. She was there helping with all the fine details and making sure everything was the way I wanted. Very calm person, which is what you need the day of the wedding.

DJ - Vinny from High Voltage A-
Great to work with. Got all the songs correct and did a good job keeping the crowd moving. He got an A- because he didn't arrive to the Bourne until 10 minutes before the ceremony was suppose to start. When Michelle from DM told me he was running late, it annoyed me a little. But as long as he was still coming and was on his way is what I was concerned about.

Yes, Wed Salon was really great. I also liked that they had late night on Thursdays, so I was able to get alterations done at 8pm at night. Worked out with my schedule.

I had steve and nicolette and i loved them!!!

The no shot rule is a lessings thing. we knew about it going INTO the contract and didnt have a problem with it at the wedding.

cant wait to see pictures! =)))
