Calling all WW girls...I am fustrated...need some support

So......I am doing really well the last two weeks, sticking to everything, eating healthy, drinking tons of water, walking, etc. So, I step on the scale on wednesday and I am down to 141.2! I should be proud because I was 175 when I started and a size 16...I wear a 6 now! However, I was super excited that I would break the 140's this week and be in the 130's! I stepped on the scale this morning and I am back to 142.3? Its sooo disheartening! I would love to eat a big old bagel with cream cheese, but I am eating my oatmeal/raisins! This sticks! Give me encouragement!

DON'T EAT THE BAGEL! Stick with it. It will show up. It is worth it. Your body just needs a little break every now and then and it slows down. You are doing great! You've lost over 30 lbs., that's awesome. Congratuations!! Keep it up!

You're doing great! Sometimes, we just hit a plateau, and we have to stick with it!!!

It could be water - it could be sodium.

Are you getting your period? That could be it too!!!

Don't worry - you'll be in the 130s before you know it!!!

Re: Calling all WW girls...I am fustrated...need some support

I ate the oatmeal and the raisins! for lunch it is steamed veggies and shrimp (no sauce). Then for snacks I have cut green peppers and baby carrots. I felt sooo good about myself this week. I tucked my shirt in and wore a belt for the first time. I tried on my bikinis for the Bahamas (going for thanksgiving). I felt sooo good and I woke up this morning all bloated and gross. It could be because we made our own pizza last night and used regular white dough and my body may not like that refined flour! Who knows....tons of water and green tea today!

I aplaud your attitude. You are doing the right thing. You aren't letting what the scale read this morning detour you (even though you may want to). Take it from my personal experience..I lost 50 lbs in about 2 years and then gained 40 of it back due to stress and working so many hours. I haven't been able to lose it yet, but still trying. You inspired me, so thank you.

Here's a little WW saying 'nothing tastes as good as thin feels!'

Don't worry. I know every monrth i gain about 2lbs at the same time. It's always when I get my period. Your body might gain one week and then lose it all plus more next week. DOn't get discouraged. Your doing great!!!

Re: Calling all WW girls...I am fustrated...need some support

well first thing- dont step on the scale more than once a week for your regular meeting- your weight goes up and down throughout the day & that can really play with your head. second- you are doing everything right and are down so much and you should be really proud of yourself. hang in there- sometimes you hit a platough (or however you spell it) and you just cant break it for weeks and then all of a sudden like 2 pounds come off at once!

Re: Calling all WW girls...I am fustrated...need some support

I know. I have been dieting for the last 2 years to lose all this weigh...I am aware of the fluctuations....however, I have been in the 140's for over 8 months and cant seem to get out. I am starting to think this is just where my body is comfortable and wants me to be........I will still diet.....

Re: Calling all WW girls...I am fustrated...need some support

you most likely have just reached a plateau...

change up your workout routine and you will see the weight start to drop again! also, maybe change your eating habits? Im not sure which WW plan you are on, but try 4-5 small meals throughout the day instead of 3 larger ones. It keeps your metabolism up and will burn more calories!

HTH - stick with it annd congrats so far
