And I love the idea of having this thread...I thought November wasn't a very popular month, but I guess I was wrong. It's nice to know there are other November brides out there

I know some of you are SO far ahead of me in terms of planning, but I wanted to share what I've gotten done so far:

1) Bridal Party
2) Church
3) Reception Hall
4) Florist
5) Wedding Rings
6) Hair & Make-up place
7) My wedding day shoes
8) Videographer - contract will be in the mail by the end of the week
9) Photographer - will sign a contract in 2 weeks

Here's what we still need to do / find:

1) Reception Music
2) Wedding Gown & Bridal Party dresses
3) Tuxedos
4) Invitations & Save the Date cards
5) Finalize Guest list
6) Wedding "theme" and color scheme
7) Registry
8) Limousines
9) A "First Song"
10) Honeymoon
11) Attendant gifts
12) Marriage license
* 13) Place to live!! *

November is my favorite month. My b'day is the 4th and being the food lover that I am, I just adore Thanksgiving. Ha ha!

I have my dress.
Booked the RH obviously.
Booked our HM
Booked our Reverend (ha ha, that sounds funny)
Bought my veil off eBay which I'm not digging actually - the champagne color doesn't look as good as I thought it would :(
Got a few BM gifts
Addressed most of my STD magnets


*I know what favors I want
*I have an idea about invites
*We should have the photo/dj booked once we visit the showcase this Sunday

Sorry, I didn't mean to seem like an over-achiever ...I just need to get a lot of stuff out of the way sooner rather than later because I'm having spine surgery in late January and will be out of commission for 4-6 weeks after that. Even in March/April I won't be 100% yet. The good thing is that the surgeon said I should be 100% within 6 months, and I should be able to dance at my wedding!!

So what colors are all of us doing?

I've been going back and forth, but think I've decided (I hope). . .Marine blue dresses (close to Navy, but a little lighter) with rose pink and peachy orange flowers. . . I know the blue isn't very fallish, but i tried throwing in some orangy color with the peach.
