Had a bad day shopping today.

Went to the mall and bought myself a couple of tops.Got home and realized that the stupid cashier left the security tag on.I was aggravated and tried to cut it off myself and broke the kitchen scizzors in half.Bought DH a new coffee pot because the old one cracked.Tried to put it in coffee maker and it doesn't fit.Someone put different model in the Krups box.Grrrr~I just know that I'm going to have a big fight with the cashier when I try to bring it back because they aren't going to believe me.

I used my Christmas gift certificate and I returned a wedding gift (it was one of the millions of frames we received).

November bride - I brought 2 shirts home with security tags and then couldn't find the receipt - but I called the store and asked for security - the guy was really nice and told me if they give me a prob. to ask for him.

OMG! That has happened to us more than once when you walk out with stupid security tag on and the beeper thing doesn't even go off!! WHAT IS THE POINT?! LOL Then you have to go back to the mall and they don't even try to give you some kind of restitution for the inconvience!!

o well @ least you have an excuse to go back to the mall!! hehe

I drove all the way upstate to Woodbury Outlets in Harriman once to buy a suit for an interview I had the next day. I got home and tried it on to show my mom, and smack dab in the back of the jacket was that big white round circular security tag with what looks like a nipple on it. SInce I wasn't going back and needed to wear that suit, my dad did some work on it with his vice grips and got it off. thanks god.

And I once bought a digital answering machine at KMart once. Got home and when I went to install it, it was some other Conair anwering machine with a tape in it. I was miffed. And of course the dummies at KMart wouldn't believe me, but after much pleading, they let me get the item I really wanted and paid for. Amazing what people do sometimes, isn't it?

And you know what? Most of those wrong items in the boxes are probably returns and the stupid person who takes them back, never looked to see if the item is right...AND we the s u c k e r consumer looks like an idiot when we have to return it!

I also got something on my new light coat.I think the dye on the shopping bag got on my coat.I had to drop it off this morning at the cleaners.I only wore it twice.It was a Christmas present.Its going to cost a lot to clean because its suade.

Sue, I am sorry you had such a rough day. Shopping is supposed to be fun! I hope the cleaners can get your coat clean!

Went to Macy's near my job and returned the coffeepot without a fight.

Same thing happend to me at christmas - I bought figurine at the card store. they only gave me the box - which I didn't realize for over a week. I was SHOCKED they gave me no problems and were in fact waiting for me to return. The girl that checked me out felt really bad.

I was surprised they didn't give me a hassel with the luck I was having.
