OK - I read a lot of brides around my date panicking (sp?).... help me.

I have done the following:

my dress & shoes
girls dresses
photog/video
DJ
flowers
hair/makeup


I have left:

invites
BP gifts
tuxes
church programs
buy bridal accessories - hairpiece, veil, garter



What am I missing? Why is everyone freaking out? Do I have so much to still do and am not realizing it?

No, I am not freaking either and I thought I was weird. I am sure there is tons of things I am not even thinking of. But I can't freak out - I don't have time.

I figure no matter what - on July 27th, I will put on my dress and hope everything else falls into place.

I'm not freaking out about wedding stuff so much as the fact that I need to find a new job and that FH and I are moving around the wedding time....and I'm more stressed b/c I don't live on LI so I have to pack all my wedding meetings/fittings/trials/etc. into the few weekends I am able to come to LI in the next 3 months (which will probably be 4 weekends tops, one of which is Pre-Cana all weekend!!)

I am pretty much okay as well...i feel like whatever needs to get done, will...seems like yo have a ton done...what about limos, if it applies?

I still have the same things to do on my list and I am getting married a month before you. I think the trick is to just make a list and knock one off a time and I am learning the word 'delegate' I am having a hard time with it though

4.Purchase wedding Guestbook, RB Pillow,Flutes, Garter, Purse, Cake server set.
5.Purchase BP Gifts
6. Purchase Wedding bands/already picked out
7. Make final decision on linens/has to go with different co.
8. Purchase table cards
9. Make OOT Stuff

Waiting on callbacks from Church mentoring couple

Waiting on callback from where they want to move in two months!! Hope they have a two bedroom townhouse available. Deb put their name on a list about a yr. ago.

The list gets bigger, as you guys post your lists!!!! Thanks!!

I am not freaking out at all. I did my best to do everything possible ahead of time and from now I will just do what I have to do when I have time! Now, if I sat down and made a list of everything I still have to do I would be going crazy!!!!!!

I am getting a little nervous because FH and I need a place to live. Then, once we have a place to live, we have to go shopping for furniture. I'm just hoping for the best that we find something soon!

Haha. I wish my mom was as involved as you are. Im lucky she knows the wedding date. Usually I love to do lists but I know I still have way too much to do and making a list would just stress me out!

fh and I paid off all our major vendors yesterday, that was such a relief of course not the reception hall until we get are final count. now we just have small things to get done, such as invites, bp gifts and parent gifts. but we worked on this since jan 07 and it is all working out wonderfully. when 06/07/08 comes we will be ready.

Awww, that's kind of you to say, Kimberly, but I really don't do that much. Deb has done most of the work. I just say, 'Here!!!' , whenever she needs something done. She just told me tonight, that she had to add a 7th day onto her Learning For Life Days; It's a special thank you to 1200 students and teachers in her program, at a camp, with all kinds of activities all day. I've been in charge of crafts; This will be my 5th yr. I know you teachers, and gals who deal with large numbers of children each day, will appreciate it, when I tell you that sometimes, Debi has scheduled me to have 75 kids at one time in the craft area!! I DO LOSE WEIGHT, FROM THE RUNNING FROM TABLE TO TABLE!!!! Anyone ever make a leather keychain?? That's the craft this yr. And FH, Fred, will no doubt be pulling fishing lines from the trees again this yr.!! That guy has the patience of Job!!!!!!! Sometimes the kids jump into the lake. There are life guards, but why anyone would want to jump into lake water, in April/May, is beyond me!! Mary MOB
