Bridal Party Gifts - I noticed a lot of opinions on this...

Hello ladies, I've seen a lot of responses regarding BMs and MOHs gifts and I'm curious what you all think of what I got.

I bought my MOHs Este Lauder makeup and perfume with (2) Este Lauder bags. I also got them VS perfumes.

I bought my BMs a VS bag with (5) VS perfumes.

What do you all think? Should I add more?

Your honesty is greatly appreciated it.

Thanks ladies

I think thats nice. It all depends on your budget. Do you want them to wear matching jewlery? Maybe day of jewlery?

Re: Bridal Party Gifts - I noticed a lot of opinions on this...

That's a nice gift...I hadn't thought of that before.

However, I've always viewed bridal party gifts as something that they will be able to look back many years later and say, 'So-&-so got me this when I was in her wedding.' From that point of view, the perfumes will be used up eventually (if they like them enought to use them), and the bags will be useful for some time, but they won't last for longer than a few years at most.

If you don't have this view/definition of a bridal party gift, then the perfumes + bag are nice. But if you do share my definition of a bridal party gift, you may want to get a small piece of jewelry that will last longer.

This is just my perspective...you are, of course, free to do what you want.

Re: Bridal Party Gifts - I noticed a lot of opinions on this...

I think that sounds good. but i have heard that it should be something to use during the wedding and/or something to save and look back on. one of my friends made some earrings and braclets for the girls. she bought the beads and clasps at michales and was able to do it fairly cheap from what she told me.

I planned on getting my girls Converse sneakers. You can custom design them on there website, so i was hoping to match them to their dresses so they can wear then during the reception. and you get a word stitched on the back so i thought either their names or the wedding date. i figured most girls will take their heels off anyway and its better to wear shoes. ill probably get myself a white pair too so hopefully it will be something to wear that night and use in the future.

what about groomsmen gifts??

at first my fiance wanted to do custon designed hockey sticks (all of them are in hockey leagues and play all the time) then his dad suggested getting ice buckets engraved and filling them with beers from around world (they are all beer drinkers too lol)
