Girls w/ naturally curly hair

what 'product' do you use? My hair is looking dry and frizzy lately and I'm looking for some new products.

Re: Girls w/ naturally curly hair

I've been using only leave in conditioners - I particularly like the Fructis for curls one and also the Sunsilk one for frizzies. Leaves my hair curly and tamed without being crunchy etc like I used to get with gel.

Re: Girls w/ naturally curly hair

well i just got a new cut hair and i have been wearing my hair straight for the last month with the new do,

but i used herbal ess curly hair shampoo and conditioner, and suave gel and aussie hairspray, i try to get my hair trimmed often due to the frizz factor, i never really liked the frizze products, i always thought they made my hair looked greasy.

i like suave gel bc i dont t get that crunchy hair

luckily i had really curly hair but was very easy to maintain

Aquage Defining Gel
http://www.sleekhair.com/8506.html
and
Redken 01 Glass Smoothing Serum
http://www.mybeautycenter.com/product_info.php?products_id=66561
That's what I use. But I was recently went in to get my hair done and they used this new stuff called 10 on me. Made my hair so soft and shiney. I looked it up and it's $60 a bottle. Too rich for my blood but if you are interested, here is a link.

Re: Girls w/ naturally curly hair

I LOVEEEE Biolage mousse. It's a little pricey ($16 a bottle at Ulta3 BUT they are having a special that if you buy 2 you get one free- so I did that last time and stocked up!) but it's the only thing that gives me nice soft curls without frizz and without getting 'crunchy'

Re: Girls w/ naturally curly hair

I have very thick, very curly hair...

I use Devachan products.. I got my haircut in their salan - and have used their products since! Essentials sells their products.

Heres the website: Devachan Salon

When you have curly hair, you are supposed to wash it every day or every other day with conditioner ONLY and wash it with Shampoo - once a week - b/c the shampoo dries out your hair, weighs it down, and causes it to get frizzy and have unhealthy curls.

I think Jeffrey is the one who cut my hair!!!!!! It IS weird - bc your hair is all diff kinds of lenths when you straighten it - but its FINALLY even when its curly!!! They cut ONE curl at a time .. and theres this whole 'process' on how to style your hair - but honestly, my hair has never looked better. .. its fuller, doesnt get frizzy and looks NATURAL - it doesnt look like I have thick thick GEL in it - like it used to!! I still use my Nexxus Exxtra gel to 'lock in' the curles from getting out of control - but I def recommend going there from haircuts - they really know what they are doing! Good Luck - and let me know what you think!!

Re: Girls w/ naturally curly hair

I use the Japanese Straighting! I've been doing it once a year for about 5-6 years now. It's great. I love it!!

I also only use Redkin Products. There was a Smooth product that I loved, but they discontinued it, so I am trying to find another product to use as well.

I have been usuing Johnson & Johnson's No More Tears detangler when I get out of the shower. After I run a pick through my hair I use either V05 curl spray or Loreal Studio curl spray.

Re: Girls w/ naturally curly hair

I use the garnier fructis curl putty sp? I know I just destroyed that word. I have the 'shirley temple' curls and I like it bc it leaves my curls soft and flowy.
Shampoo I use either Pantene or Garnier Fructis for curly hair it really stops the frizzies.

Re: Girls w/ naturally curly hair

Morroccan Oil-my stylist has it and it is great for all hair types.

When I do my hair curly, I use Curls Rock by Bedhead and CHI for frizz.

Oh, and also Deva Curl-their line is great-made just for curly hair. Their shampoo is low sudsing, so that is best for curls, since the ends of your hair can get dry
