Wholesale flowers???
So I am interested in possibly getting some flowers wholesale for centerpieces and possibly even for bridesmaid BOKs too. Can anyone recommend any wholesalers?
Thanks!

Re: Wholesale flowers???
I've never used them, but the site fiftyflowers.com seems good.

Re: Wholesale flowers???
just keep in mind that when you buy wholesale flowers, most come closed...I did this for my e-party and they told me to pick it up 3 days before the party and that i would have to take good care of them for 3 days in order for them to even open up bc when they receive them they get the flowers closed.
At first i thought ok no big deal but the flowers had to stay in warm water the whole time and warm temperature in order for them to open up or else they wouldn't. I became so stressed about whether they will even open. I had to keep the heat on very high in my apartment the whole time, i had to change the water constantly bc it couldnt get cold. At first i put them in two large buckets since they were closed, then i had to put out about 12 vases throughout my apartment since they started opening up.
Its alot of work so make sure youre up for it
you can also order it from a wholesale place and ask them to deliver it to you and make the cp's for you, will cost a little bit more than getting them yourself but still will come out less probably than a florist

Do you know somebody that will let you use their business license? If so, FM me.

Re: Wholesale flowers???
Walk through the wholesale flower market in manhattan - 6th ave around 28th st.
I was going to buy flowers wholesale & do my own so I went there & talked to a bunch of different places. They were very helpful.
In the end I woud up going to a regular florist. It just wasn't worth it, i didn't have enough room to keep the flowers & it would have taken too long to arrange everything myself. but it is possible if you have a lot of people to help & a place to store them-good luck
