Past and Present Brides:POLL: Are you using a purse on your wedding day?

Hi ladies...I was wondering if it is worth it to bother with a purse on my wedding day. It seems like everything you will need can fit into a tote bag???
What are/did you ladies doing?

I still have no idea. I know that my DOC will be WAY better prepared then I will, plus.....I'm either a license, cash and cigarette purse OR...everything under the kitchen sink purse kinda gal. I want to talk to my MOH and DOC to see if I really need one.

I am undecided also.. I was thinking of buying these cute little bags for my BM's so they could bring cell phone etc.. but i am undecided on that also.. Do we NEED them i am sure I will have my stuff thrown into my trusty tote...

i wasnt really planning to but about 2 weeks before the wedding i saw a cute purse that was inexpensive and thought why not and realized maybe i should bc knowing me ill bring a bunch of things with me lol

I brought my phone with me, i didnt need it the day of but we were stay at a hotel after the wedding for 2 days so wanted to have it. I smoke so that was a big reason i bought a purse, had my lipgloss and make up artist gave me this big make up sponge she used on me to use later on that night in case i get shiny or anything. I also brought my camera but the batteries were dead and didnt know so didnt get to use which S*CKS, and also had license.

Its not something you HAVE to have, its really just preference. My DOC took my overnight bag and brought it to the hall but few things like cigs, lighter, camera, lipgloss i wanted to keep on me. But dont feel like you have to get one, if you dont think you'll need it dont get one

here is the purse i used...when limo picked me up i had it on me, i think my mom held it though...then before i got out of the limo the driver put my bag in a compartment so didnt take it in with me lol...then when i got out of the church and was about to get on party bus i just went over to the car i came in and took it out of there and brought it on the bus, then once we got to the RH the bridal attendant took it the second i got off the bus and i left it in the bridal suite

i collect antique beaded purses and my great aunt got me one for my shower gift. i am definately using it for the wedding day - but mostly for sentimental reasons!

I think I'll just take a big bag with my emergency kit, cell phone, contact info and tip envelopes give it to my MOH to keep an eye on but mostly keep it in the limo or the bridal room. I don't want a purse to tote around. I'll have enough stress without remembering not to leave it.

i dumped my stuff in a tote bag, and honestly didn't remember or have time to use my purse all night, i have no idea where my lipstick landed up, lol.

i had a cute white clutch purse that really made a difference I put my touch up makeup in there with pins, mints, advil , mirror it was good to have nearby and very accessible

I didnt have one.

My DOC took everything i needed, mints, deodorant, makeup, and had it in a box, and she kept it in her car and brought it to the bridal suite

I did, but I really didn't carry it, it was more for the sake of using it--it was my something borrowed, my Aunt gave it to me. I had my make-up, a compact mirror, and I think that was it--I didn't even end up bringing it in from the Bridal Suite, but I regret that--I wish I had just had the Bridal Attendant put it next to my place at my table so people would at least see it...

i didn't have one. I put everything in an overnight bag, since we were staying in a hotel that night. I left it in the bridal suite and never needed anything out of it.

I am bringing one, but the one I have doesn't look like it is going to carry everything I need. I probably will need a tote also!

well i already will have a big duffle bag with the "emergency kit" and i figured a little purse with just my lipgloss and little odds and ends to freshen up for pics.....

nope - my DOC had EVERYTHING that I needed & all the stuff that I didn't need too!

I think I will give my sister, my MOH, the few things I might need - lipgloss, blush, camera (yes I want my own!) - to hold in her purse (I already bought her one that matches her dress). Anything else I would need will be in a tote bag in the bridal suite.

Nope - I have no intention of carrying around a purse no matter how small and cute they are. I have a bridal suite at my disposal so if there is anything I need it will be in there

still haven't decided what I wanted to do yet...but I may go with a tiny purse!

i have one i'm going to use, i have to carry medication with me so i kinda have no choice!

I didnt use a purse. I didnt really have anything I needed with me all the time. I had a big duffel bag which I left in the bridal suite.

No I did not have a purse the day of....

we had a big gift bag size bag with things I would need in it. I didn't want the hassle of carrying and worrying about the purse.

honestly i had a purse and never used it. Just no point what the hell am i going to carry around? Lipstick??? i honestly just went back to the bridal suit to pee and apply a new coat and that is about it.

We are actually getting ready AT my hall before the church, so everything I need will already be in the bridal suite. And I figure if I need the bathroom or whatever, I'll be using the one up there and can freshen up my makeup and all at that time. So, no, I am not carrying a purse.

I'm totally undecided - I think if I see a cute purse I'll go for it, otherwise not bother. All of our stuff will be in the bridal suite anyway. And FH has pockets for lipstick.
