Best Wedding Night Hotel on LI?
Hi All,
I was hoping to get some info on where would be the best place to spend our wedding night. My wedding is on the south shore in Suffolk county. Any help would be much appreciated. The nicer the better!

Re: Best Wedding Night Hotel on LI?
Welcome to the boards. I see you are getting married at the Bourne Mansion. The Bourne Mansion I think is in huntington right? I would recommend Garden City hotel. We are staying in a suite there for our wedding night. I think that is the best you will get on LI. If you want something nice but not quite as expensive I have heard great things about Fox Hollow Inn, Wingate Inn.

FYI- Would NOT recommend LI Marriott at Islandia, not that nice for a marriott or awedding night IMO.

Thank you Rob-luvs-me. I appreciate it.Although Garden City may be a little ways away, I am sure we will be catching a flight from JFK, so it will be closer.
Thanks!

Re: Best Wedding Night Hotel on LI?
It isn't too far - I live in GC and commute to huntington everyday and it is only 20-30 min drive and we always take a 6 or 7 am flight out of JFK for our vacations and car service is easy and you can get to JFK on a weekend early morning in 20 mins

Garden City Hotel. If you want something less expensive, the Wingate Inn.

Thanks for the help. I want it to be perfect, but hopefully will not have to spend too much on the room. I have enough expenses.

Bourne Mansion is in Oakdale. Does anyone have any info on the new Marriott off the LIE near Ronkonkoma/Holbrook??? (Actually, I'm not sure if it's a Marriott or not?!
