Honeymoon Help

So My FH and I are trying to book our honeymoon....The winner seems to be Le Blanc hotel in Cancun. I just wanted to see if anyone has been there or heard any reviews from it.
Thanks :)

Re: Honeymoon Help

I've never been, but I heard it's really nice. I read lots of reviews on trip advisor and that was one of the places we're considering. I love Cancun off peak. It's really beautiful.

Re: Honeymoon Help

are you planning on going right after your wedding? Septemeber is hurricane season everywhere, especially Mexico so you might want to consider somewhere 'safer' that is below the hurrican belt. JMO.

This very true or postponing your honeymoon maybe until Oct -Nov. I stayed at the Hyatt right next to Le Blanc it was gorgeous and the beach was amazing.

Re: Honeymoon Help

I've been to cancun, definitely stay away in september, that's when the hurricanes hit. Have you considered anywhere else in the caribbean or maybe going to cancun later in the year?

Aruba is our of the hurricane path all year long. I think Bermuda might be also

I know it is hurricane season but we cant really postpone the honeymoon due to our work schedules. We are going to take out the hurricane insurance which enables us to choose a different place for our honeymoon if we see that a hurricane is headed that direction. We can change destinations very last minute. The insurance is $120 per person. Thanks for the advice though.

Re: Honeymoon Help

I have heard that Le Blanc is gorgeous. You will def have a good time there. My cousin went there for her honeymoon and loved it.

It's rated #2 hotel in Cancun.

Great idea!! I hope there are no hurricanes headed in any direction in September!!! We are going to St. Lucia and while it is one of the safer places its def. not free from hurricanes!!

Yea it is just annoying trying to plan your honeymoon around hurricanes! I think I would rather just risk it and change locations if one is on its way....who knows maybe there will be very little hurricanes this coming season since we had a lot last summer.
