Both dresses will be in Navy Taffeta (here is a dress in the color the above dresses will be in) WE DID NOT ORDER THIS LAST DRESS IT IS ONLY A SAMPLE FOR THE MATERIAL AND COLOR OF THE ONES ABOVE THAT WE DID ORDER

The MOH is actually slightly different a little more fitted with a bit of a train but you get the idea they actually look nice together

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first and second ones are the two that I am in love with for my bridal party!!!! I am waiting until summer to start looking, but I totally love those. What color did you order??? Where did you order them from??? Did they have the samples of all three of these in the store?? I have those very same pictures in my BM file, but I've never seen them in person! Do you have any heavy girls in you BP, how did they look in the dresses? Is the material of #2 thin in person (will it show every lump and bump?) Sorry to ask so many questions, but I just really love these dresses. Congrats! You picked awesome dresses!

EVENEDEN We did not order the 3rd one it was the only dress on their site in the material and color of the dresses we did order. The first one looked great on all of the girls (it has more material and I think it is more forgiving) but it looked as beautiful on the smallest as well as the largest girl. I am not 100% certain of the dress sizes but I think they ranged from a 2 to a 12 or 14.
My MOH was the small one - she is much shorter as well and although she looked fabulous in the first dress she looked stunning in the second - SO my mom and I insisted that she get the second one. They actually look GREAT together.
They did not have the second one in the color at the store she originally tried it on in satin - but I am pretty sure she tried it on in the same material we go it in - BUT not positive (but she is one that wouldn't matter what you put her in she will look gorgeous anyway (even in a sack - ugh)
If you are interested a girl at school gave me a place in jersey city that sells the dresses witht the alterations included - they are sometimes at a better price or equal to what they are selling at vera wang

We went bm dress shopping for my friend's wedding and I think we settled on a dress. Some of the other girls have to try it one first before we make a final decision.

I am definitely interested! I didn't realize you could get the dresses in different materials that what it is shown in. I can't wait to have my girls try both of them on. I got so excited when I saw your dresses because they really are my two favorites so far!

We decided to get them at Vera Wang - they come with a matching purse for free. The girls felt that by the time they added in their tolls and gas to commute to Jersey city a few times to try them on, get fitted etc it would not save us money in the long run.

The pics really don't do the dresses justice they are GORGEOUS in person. They looked fabulous on all of the girls. But we put the MOH in the straighter more fitted dress bec - she is the smallest of them all - my mom took one look at her in the other dress and said she HAD to have it.

She and I are paying the difference in the price for them- The ones I picked out were 290. The girls wanted to spend that much - I didn't think they would want - I figured I might be subsidizing the cost. But they were excited about the dresses - we get there and they fell in love with the one they got (it was not in the store the 1st time MOH and I went) When we found out what it cost I told mom we would have to go back to the other original dress but she asked if I split the difference with her she would pay the difference).

Then dad treated us all to dinner at la bonne souppe. We had an amazing day! So the dresses are ordered they will come in end of may beginning of June and we will go in then and pick them up and go to lunch of dinner again I think. They will take them somewhere probably in January or Feb and have them altered.
They really are gorgeous on all of them - the dress has some extra material so it is forgiving on all body types. They are much prettier in person.

They want to know what type of shoes and color shoes to get.
It is hard to say - I will have to show you a swatch and ask your opinion.

Yeah we were having the same problem with shoes for the dress we picked out today also. The color she picked is celedon (it's like a light green). It's really a very pretty color and it's Tafetta also. I think we're going to have to go with dyable shoes, even though I'm scared b/c the color never comes out right I guess we'll see.
