My best friend has been trying to get pg since august. she has now seen specialists, and went to one today. He told her that it is her that is causing the problems. her eggs are fine, his sperm are fine, but she is killing them (sperm) as soon as they enter her body. She is being artificially inceminated tomorrow. She is very nervous and sad. She is such a sweet girl and I am praying all will go well for her tomorrow. She will make the best mom. Please, please, please, send baby dust!

Doctor sounds like a jerk! Sorry but to tell her SHE is the problem is horrible. How about that something inside her body is attacking the sperm? Not that SHE is doing something wrong.
I am sending her lots of baby dust~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ and hopefully a new, caring doctor.

THanks michele! My friend hates her Dr's bedside manner! She was very upset when she left the Dr's office yesterday. Hopefully she is preg. now and will never have to deal with him again!

My friend has that problem too. Her doctor put her on clomid (I think that's the one) to stop her body from attacking the "baby". I'm surprised that she is getting artificially inseminated without having tried this drug first. Have her speak to her doctor about this drug. Good luck to her!!!

Thanks lauren! I will definately have a chat with her. Sounds like it's worth trying. I know she's devistated that she can't have the baby the natural way. At least with a drug it will seem more like the natural way. From a friends' point of view, I just want whatever makes her happy!
