Royalton Brides - Spitz&Peck vs Stefans?

What kind of quotes has everyone gotten from both? It stinks that we are forced to use one of the two because I hear they are both on the expensive side. Has anyone gotten recent prices?

Royalton doesn't publicize it, but you can pay a $1500 fee to be able to use a different florist. My sister did that for her Feb. wedding there. Even with paying the fee, it was less expensive to go with a different florist.

I'm not getting married at the Royalton, but I'm using Spitz & Peck as my florist. They are amazing. And, I priced out 2 other florists and all 3 were around the same price. S&P was actually the lowest in the end after we negotiated.

My friend used Stefan's for her wedding and they did a great job. her sister's also used them...

I am using Spitz and peck and could not be MORE pleased.

We spoke about the budget, and then we talked. I toild them what I was interested in and what I wanted. They gave me all sorts of options. We didnt discuss money since we had spoken about the budget. Once we did that it was like I was commishioning them. Such great service and they knew the space very well.

Also, that $1500 fee to use someone else is probably the kickback they would have gotten form the 'prefered' vendors, IMO.

I ended up going with Stefans. I visited both, but Stefans offered to make me a sample immediately and I loved it as soon as I saw it. They also quoted me less. The owner is a bit annoying I must say, but I'm working with Paul and he has been great so far. Keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.

I have had the best experience with Maddy at Spitz and Peck. They've been my favorite vendor so far. While their price might be on the higher side compared to other LI florists, I don't think they're unreasonable. We're getting a lot for our money and I know it's a heck of a lot cheaper than what my friends are paying for the flowers at their NYC weddings.

Spitz and Peck was pricey IMO, but I had a BIG problem with Stefan's aka Fleurs de Florissima.

See if there is another options available to you.
