Ideas for Bridal Shower Favors?

Hey ladies-

Can you tell me what kind of favors you had at your bridal shower or any that you've done for friends? We are throwing on of my BM a bridal shower next weekend and need to come up with something quick! Thanks! (I think I remember a really pretty one that were little french-milled soaps?)

I was just at a bridal shower on Saturday - they took smal metal baskets, filled it with potporri (sp) and wrapped it in toole with a pretty ribbon! I LOVE the sugar cookie idea though!

Go to TJ Max or Marshalls - any one of those discount stores and buy pretty soaps- then you can print pretty tags out on vellum paper- hole punch and attach to soaps with ribbon!

I love candles! Yankee candle company has mini-votice candles that you can personalize. Thay are about $2.00-$3.00 each.

My MOH had little terra cotta pots, put fabric inside (mine was fall leaves since that was my theme) to line it and had little hand lotions, body spray, or shower gel...cheap and really cute looking!

last spring i used carnations as he favors, and they doubled as the cernterpieces

For my shower, my BM made wine charms. For her shower we did an Asian theme since she loves that & I gave out soaps from china town & chopsticks.

go to the 99cent stores or national liquidators. They have plenty of different types of candles some pre packaged already.

For my sister's shower we gave out 'tea for one' sets. They were adorable. It came with a small tea kettle, cup & tea bag.

For my shower, the favors were these beautiful address books with pretty flowers on them. They were from the National Museum of the Arts.

My girls got little bottles of hand lotion, put a 'Kelly's Bridal Shower' label on them and wrapped them in pretty tulle with a bow and ribbon. They were so pretty and easy to make. AND...It's something they can use. I thought it was so creative.

Nice ideas ladies please keep them coming. Has anyone been to shower were you did not get a favor recently? I am planning one with 2 other girls and one of them thinks its really not done anymore?

My mom had a really nice favor. She bought silver candle snuffers and two taper candles for each person. She tied them together with pretty sheer ribbon and glued on a little red rose to tie in my wedding colors. They were so pretty, simple and classy.

I have never been to a shower without favors. Sorry! Try walmart or target for cheap shower stuff. Maybe you could add one of those bath puffs? I don't know how much they are.
