totally bummed
all my potential job possibilities seem to be disappearing. One's on 'hold' for a few weeks, one I decided I didn't want, and I just got rejected for the position I interviewed for last week. The interviews went really well and I know they checked up on me and got great references, but the ended up making an offer to someone internal. Another blow to my ego courtesy of Schwab.
At the moment, there's only one left - I did a phone interview, but they haven't decided who they're bringing in yet.
I'm getting discouraged again.

Re: totally bummed
Sorry, Lisa!!
I too believe that things happen for a reason. You turned down a job b/c it wasn't for you, making yourself available for the *right* one that will come along soon!!Best of luck!!

Re: totally bummed
I agree with Kathi ~ by turning down the 'wrong' job, you opened yourself up to the 'right' job. It will come! I know waiting is torturous, but LIW will keep you busy chatting about other things.
All of my appendages are crossed, and I'm wishing you lots of luck.

Re: totally bummed
So sorry that you're haven't found a job yet.
I know how frustrating this can be. But finding your dream job is like finding your dream man, it takes a little time b/f the right one comes along. Try to enjoy the time you have now to do things for yourself that you couldn't if you were working!
