Stolen from '11 - What was your second choice RH?
I thought this was a great question....silly me though, I can't answer it because Old Field Club was the only place we ever visited. I think its the one wedding decision I've made that I've never had a second thought about

Re: Stolen from '11 - What was your second choice RH?
I think out of the ones we saw, ours was the Woodlands. We loved DeSeversky too, but it was too small. And we felt the Woodlands CH room was a bit too small too. Had we not loved NRC, we probably would've kept looking. My next appointment that day was at the Garden City Hotel, but we ended up canceling as soon as we left NRC

Re: Stolen from '11 - What was your second choice RH?
Actually my 1st was Swan Club but we decided that we wanted to stay in Queens because is was more central to our guests. So we decided on Riccardos and they gave me a great price! So a guess Swan Club is my 2nd.

Re: Stolen from '11 - What was your second choice RH?
I honestly do'nt have a second. I only saw 3, and JT in my opinion was perfect. I can't even chose the from the other 2 bc neither were what we were looking for at all. Not that they weren't beautiful and friendly to us. I just never got the 'THIS IS IT' feeling. The morning I went to JT I had 5 other appointments that day. That we literally just blew off... whoops...

We didnt have a second choice. We went and looked at soooo many halls and to us they were all the same. Everything we did not want.We went to flowerfields and fell IN LOVE! So we changed out date and booked it!

We loved Lomardi's on the Sound in Port Jefferson. However once we went to The Vineyard Caters it was a done deal!

Definitely Old Field Club. I love the simplicity of it, but unfortunately we couldn't afford it

Our 2nd choice was Jericho Terrace, but Leonard's won out just because I'd been there before and FH fell in love with it.

Re: Stolen from '11 - What was your second choice RH?
woodlands was the only place we saw. we had our e-party at INHP and liked that alot so I'd say maybe if we didn't book the woodlands we wouldve considered that.

That's so funny. We had the opposite experience. VIP was willing to work with us on the min. while Glenn Island wouldn't budge.
