Florist issue

I just want to share my experience with a certain florist that I met with.

FH and I met with one florist and were ready to book him on the spot, when we received our proposal in the mail we were so happy and wanted to book. We decided we should probably meet with at least one more florist to compare prices and ideas. We met with Artistry in Flowers and were so happy with the ideas she had to offer! We walked out of the appointment very torn and were very excited for her proposal which she said would take 2 weeks. Well its been 4 weeks and no proposal.
I called on Tuesday to check in on my proposal and a different person picked up the phone and said that 'they have been very busy and so and so probably never wrote it, she will do it after Thanksgiving, but give me your number and she will call you to discuss.' That was Tuesday. Its Saturday. No phone call back. Needless to say I called the first florist and FH & I are going there next week to book with him.

I am so appalled at the lack of professionalism I thought I'd post this to inform other brides to be.

Re: Florist issue

You're better off not going with someone who can't even be bothered to write up a contract to get business... imagine how they are once they have your $$!!!!

Re: Florist issue

its amazing how you think that they would need the business in these economic days----but they obviously don't.
every time we went to see a florist they wrote it up then and there and we got a copy-didn't have to wait

Re: Florist issue

At least this experience happened in the beginning, so that you didn't book them and have problems down the road.

Andyboy will be very happy to get your call :)

Andy was thrilled to hear from me when I called! Poor guy doesn't know what he is in for.

Re: Florist issue

Ohhh sooo happy you went with Andrew...he is so incredible and you really liked him from the beginning, so always trust your first instinct
I cannot believe you have now been waiting almost 5 weeks for the other proposal...that's ridiculous.

Re: Florist issue

I think it's best to go with the first florist. These vendors should be wanting your business so bad, you should have had to quote in your inbox before you got home!!

I really don't understand people!!!
