Seeking recommendations for florist in Nassau Co area

Hi, can anyone recommend a florist in the Nassau Co/ South Shore area? Looking to spend approx $1500. Plus I think I can get away with not having flowers at the church (alter and possibly pew, not bouquets) since my wedding is 1 week after next Easter. I went to church the week after this past easter and the flowers still looked good on the altar which made me feel better.

jack and rose - jack and rose jack and rose!!!

we just booked them and they were the best pricewise and flowerwise for us...they give a liw discount too!!

(you can get the info in the vendor section - we loved jack!)

ps - jennbaby just used them too! (you can search her unofficual pics!!)

My florist is so sweet, creative and AFFORDABLE! Here's her website, it's not the fanciest website, but she is a great florist (I went to another wedding where she did the flowers and it was really beautiful):

I'm using Milleridge Florist in Jericho. For a little over $1500, we got my bouquet, MOH's bo-k, 2 BM's bo-k's, corsages for 5 women, bouts. for 6 men, 16 centerpieces, flowers for cake and cake table, and a sprinkling of rose petals on our gift table. I highly recommend this place - the people there are so nice and extremely helpful!

I also checked out Wick's in Baldwin. I found them affordable as well.

you may want to travl to Huntigton to Burtons, they only do weddings and are great. You can get any flowers you want and the price remains the same. I know alot of people that used them and were very happy with them.

We're using Flowers by Liz - told her we didn't want to go over $1k & she worked w/us AND is still using the flowers I wanted to use, whereas other florists said it wasn't happening.
