As a second time bride shourl I wear a veil??

Now, etiqutte says no. You are not suppose to wear a veil or a train however, it is appropriate to wear white. My dress is 'pearl' and it does not have a train it has a 'sweep'. I am wearing my hair up and I have small silk flowers I am going to put in my hair (to go with my beach wedding). It has been suggested to me by my photographer and the bridal salon to buy one long veil to wear only in the back (not over my face) for the ceremony and pictures and then remove it.

What do you guys think???

Christine

Re: As a second time bride shourl I wear a veil??

I think you should do what you want. Personally, with the flowers in your hair, I think that is going to be beautiful enough...and for a beach wedding...I think doing without a veil is the better thing to do.

But, that's my opinion...and I say, if you feel like wearing a veil...than go ahead and wear one. If you don't...then don't. The choice is entirely yours.

Good Luck!

P.S. I think beach weddings are the best!!!

Re: As a second time bride shourl I wear a veil??

Wear a veil! It makes you feel so 'bridal'....You could wear one that is a single layer and wear it underneath the upsweep of your hair. It's a beautiful, classic look without being 'froo froo'.

I did it b/c I didn't want that 'veiled' look, I wanted something classy and simple. A couple of people commented on how it didn't take away from my dress or me b/c it was down low, but that it looked romantic and modern.

You are a bride and should do wahtever is going to make you feel like a princess. I don't think it should matter that its a second wedding. You are marrying this guy and should celebrate that in any which way you want. Wear the viel.

Re: As a second time bride shourl I wear a veil??

I was a 2nd time bride too, and wore a veil, just no blusher. Like all the others have said, go with what makes you happy, some rules were meant to be broken
