Catering Hall Recommendations
Can anyone help me? Please let me know if you have been to a wedding lately and if you liked it or disliked it. I am thinking of finding another catering hall because of this whole John Anthony's disaster. Please... Thanks in advance.

Re: Catering Hall Recommendations
I went to a wedding in May and it was at the coral house. Everything was fantastic. The food was really good. FI and I had a fantastic time. It went so fast. The best part was dessert. What a treat this was, ice cream came out to the table and cookies. I think it was called a modified venetian or something. WOW what an amazing treat it was. I was so stuffed from all the food that by the time the wedding cake came out I couldnt even eat it. Cocktail hour was fantastic, you would really think you were having dinner with all the food that was there.
Everything was great

Our wedding was at the Meadow Club in Port Jeff and everything was perfect. I have also been to East Wind and Watermill this past year and they were wonderful too! You will find another hall try not to worry

Hi, I'm another Villa Lombardi's bride and I've heard nothing but wonderful things as well. The food is wonderful (and you get plenty of it for your money) and the service is excellent. Good Luck with your decision.

I'm getting married at the fox hollow too. I'ven never actually been to a wedding there, but everytime i say I am having it there people tell me what a fantastic job that they do with everything.Villa lombardi's is nice too. My coiusin had his wedding there. The food was like nothing that I have ever had at a wedding before, but the place just wasn't my style.

I'm getting married at Chateau Briand. I've been here for 2 weddings and loved it. Everyone that I know who has been there loved the food. It all depends on the style you want.

Re: Catering Hall Recommendations
I got married at Villa Lombardi's, and it was AWESOME. It had the best food, and so much of it.The room where we had our cocktail hour totally won me over. It is this huge glass room.
One os my biggest pet peeves about going to a wedding is having plenty of room to sit for the cocktail hour.
I have been to weddings where there was not enough seating, and hubby and I were standing

Re: Catering Hall Recommendations
I agree with Mishandgerard.........the food at the Coral House was nothing to rave about. I attended a wedding there in August. The entree was a very small appetizer portion and extremely salty.

Villa Lombardi's, The Fox Hollow & Russo's on the Bay were all wonderful placces with excellent food & service. Went to one wedding at Russo's whee the bride & groom entered the reception through the floor! There's an elevator that brings them up into the middle of the room. It was so great!Welcome New Vendors
