Ideas on a Black & White Wedding

I was wondering if anyone has ever been to a Black & White wedding? My BP will all be dressed in black gowns and i wanted to know what color flowers would be the best accent to it. All White or All Red flowers?

Let me know what you gals think?

i am doing the same thing. i was going to do all white and i researched a lot of pictures with all white roses and black dresses and it was a little boring looking. so i looked into red flowers and it was amazing. i never would have thought i would like red but it wowed me. i would suggest different shades of red roses.

My girls wore black and carried red, black magic roses, cranberry (and some other fall colors mixed in) The contrast was beautiful. Here is one example. Let me know if you want to see more.

IMO, if my dresses were black I would use light/bright colors again the dresses. Pinks, purples, blues, anything light and bright so have the black as a backdrop too.

Also, maybe have long ribbons from the flowers to lie against the dress

I think red with some roses (more red than white in the boquiet) would be really nice and would look great in color photos.

I like the idea of red flowers for the BP. You think white flowers will look too boring? I want to make sure since the wedding is kindda in between spring & summer that i am using the right flowers for the season since i decided to forgo spring colors for the BP dresses.
