Tried calling my mother on her cruise today....
and they wanted $9.50 PER MINUTE to direct me to her. No thanks, I'll save whatever I have to tell her until she returns.

Wow that is cheap
it used to be like 14 or 15$ a minute - which is TOTALLY ridiculous - my parents used to leave their number for me if there was an emergency when they took their cruises - they usually call from a port instead.
