Having a real bad week - long vent

Having a real bad week - long vent

As my week is going on it is getting worse and worse.

To begin with the doctor found (what they call huge tumor on my mom's jaw). SHe had a biopsy yesterday and has to go in the hospital in a few weeks to have it removed. I have to believe it will be okay.

Now I woke up and my husband was in a car accident on the way home from the Ranger game last night. Apparently a bunch of guys cut him off. After the accident they fled the scene on foot and my husbands friend managed to catch one of them. He thinks the car is totalled.

I had my mom on my mind all night and now this. What more????

As for the car as long as your everyone walked out of the accident unharmed that's all that matters!!

Oh, Cindy, I am so sorry to hear this!

Why is it that when it rains it pours??

You are right, you have to believe that Mom will be fine. It's important to be strong for her...please try!

As for hubby-is he ok? My co-worker was in a accident last week, and the other driver fled. He left the car, but literally fled-on foot. Unreal.

Take a deep breath and hug your hubby. You'll get through all of this together. You're in my thoughts

hope everything gets better

not too long ago my fh got into a horrible accident totalled a 7 month old caddy cts.

That phone call is the WORST.
I have learned a car is a car and it can be replaced.

4 month later he is still trying to recover that he was mins away from losing his leg.

I look back now I try to take it as a test of our relationship
these things either make you break you.
Hang in there and remember all of this is only temporary.

i am sorry you are having a bad week. that is terrible. i'm glad to hear that they caught at least one of the jerks. hopefully he'll talk, in fears of being sent back. i hope things get better for you.

Thanks everyone for being so kind.

My husband is ok, thanks for asking. I am truly worried about my mom though.

She has to have a bone graft done and everything. We are still waiting for the biopsy results. Yes, when it rains, it pours.

Cindy!!

I'm so sorry you're having such a bad week! You're making my week seem fine by comparison.

Thank goodness your DH is all right!! I'm sure it's upsetting the car is totalled, but it's replaceable, and your DH is not.

I'm sure you know that, though. It could have been so much worse. I can't even think about it.

As for your mom, I'm sure it will be okay. She'll be in good hands and I'm sure will come through with flying colors. It might be a harmless growth, so we have to keep thinking positively.

Cindy, I am SO sorry to hear about your Mom. I can relate. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
