Re: Any experience with Elsa for wedding bands?

I am using Elsa. We went for our first appointment, then our second. They are very nice and I didn't find them skeezy at all! They are a nice married couple who have been in the business forever. I need a custom made band to go with my pear shaped ring and they literally carved it in front of me from a lump of wax to fit perfectly. Next week they will set it in a temporary gold for my approval, and then comes the final platinum, the the diamonds. The process takes about 2 months or so. Its a great experience. You actually create your own ring from begining to end. Its very personal and makes your ring so much more special. The only thing I would not do is buy the grooms ring from them, as you can buy one anywhere and they would be happy. My ring though is about the same price as i have seen in stores. And they custom make and sell all thier own inventory, so they are not actually a retail type store. They claim to give you a custom ring for a retail store price, and they actually deliver on the promise! I will let you know how the final product turns out. So far I am happy with them!

Re: Any experience with Elsa for wedding bands?

I know this is an older post, but I found it and had to comment. I got my engagement ring there and couldn't be happier. we looked around A LOT and the quality here was unparalleled. WE didn't get charged to look at the diamond(like I saw mentioned in an earlier post) and the rings I saw in other jewelery stores were much lower quality and more expensive. I could go on and on. WE had an amazing experience with them and will definitely go back for the wedding bands.
