anyone been to Atlantis Paradise Island-Bahamas?

is it really as beautiful as it looks online??

I was there in April. It is amazing! Everything about it is beautiful.. So much that we bought time share with Atlantis...(its the most expensive out there...but the most beautiful as well). The regular rooms in the hotel range from around $400-600 depending on which of the 3 towers you stay in. That is ONLY for your room. Everything is extra. FM if you need more info! HTH

I was there a few years ago. I don't remember prices but definately beautiful. I would go again.

i went during christmas and i liked it a lot. however, when we went it was cold and rainy so the main reason we went there (beach and sun) did not happen. another thing, all the restaurants that were not buffet or casual were all booked when we got there, so i guess you have to make reservations before you actually get to the island.

The regular rooms themselves were ok... but if you are going for luxury, not really. The resort itself is luxurious, with nice pools, a great casino... it is very much like the borgata (in atlantic city) but the rooms are not as nice. We paid 3500 for 2 adults 5 days 4 nights.

Also, the hotel is very family friendly. I would definitely go back when i have kids. also, we saw several famous people while we were there which was fun.

All in all, a little bit overpriced, but this may have had to do with the fact it was cold out.

that is by far the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We were there for one day (never saw the actual hotel rooms) but the building, grounds, lobby, restaurant, aquarium, beach and casino are amazing. If we had enough money I would definetly pick that as a honeymoon spot.

There is a lower priced hotel that is associated with Atlantis that I think is $150/night and you get to use all of the Atlantis facilities. I agree with everyone that it is Gorgeous!!!! Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the hotel, but maybe you can research it?

I was there, but did not stay there. The parts you are allowe to go to as 'not a guest' are beautiful!

I was on a cruise that stopped at Nassau, and, I didn't go snorkeling with eevryone else (I fry and I am allergic to regular sunscreen) so I went to the Alantis. It is cool.

Yes, it is as beautiful as the pics.

We didn't stay at that hotel, but we were able to purchase a pass to stay on their grounds for a day and it was AWESOME!!!

i went there i think it was 2 years ago in sept.
i loved it -the place is really beautiful
relaxing vacation. no night life what so ever except the bar in the casino and if you want more of a night life(not so great but ) you would have to go into town

I think the place is beautiful!!!!!!!!! but I wouldn't go for a HM. I would go when I had a family (lots of kids). The only problem is, I don't like the Bahamas.

We're going to The Raddison at Cable Beach for a few days before we go to Disney for the rest of our honeymoon... I've never been there and you'll hear good reviews about it with the exception of the buildling being a little run down.. I have a friend that travels thru the Carribean alot and she stayed at the Raddison and LOVED it... and she said the Atlantis is so close you can go there too, so why not stay there and take a trip to atlantis a few times during your stay? Just a thought.. Good Luck!!

I have friends who just got back from Westin - Our Lucaya and they loved it. They said the Sheraton next door was nice too, but the Westin was much better. They are actually having their destination wedding there next year, so they went to scope things out...
