Bridal Expo at Nassau Coliseum

Did anyone attend the bridal expo today at Nassau Coliseum?? I thought it was alright but I was expecting way more vendors and I thought it was very disorganized. The fashion show was also VERY disappointing. But I did get some good info.

I did go. I think it could have been so much better. The one at Marriot Marquis was so much better. They said 5000 tickets sold and I did not see over 100 people there. There was supposed to be more than 350 venfors when I saw about 40. I am going to write this lady for my money back!!!!!!!!!

I didnt get a chance to go, but I see from your reviews that I didnt miss much.. sorry it was a dissapointment

Also.. what was up with the 'raffles'? I filled out so many & I didn't hear 1 name get called out. LAME!!

I was really disappointed too!! I thought it was going to be so much bigger. When you think the coliseum, you would think it would be huge!! There weren't many vendors there, but the ones that I saw, seemed to be pretty good I have to say. There was a cake lady there that had beautiful things and some other company with favors and homemade things.

I really didn't give my name and number to too many. I think the vendors who give you literature to read and say to call if your interested are far more appealing than the ones who make you fill out a sheet so they can harass you! The others are imo, more professional!

I went. They called out names, 3 or 4 brides, who weren';t ther won like 3 or 4 prizes each...it was so annoying...but I got good info and I liked the band I saw. it wasn't all it was cracked up to be, but I thought the quality of the vendors was much better than at other shows I've been to. WHERE WAS RON?

YES i was very upset about this as well!!!!

Also they made is seem like U HAD to register b4 hand.... so that u can get a bag.

I THOUGHT i was going to get this HUGE BAG of goodies.... but it was smaller than the other vendors.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I was there today... and I want my money back as well!!! One good thing I got out of it was trying the chocolate fountain provided by Westbury Manor. Yummmy! I should have ate my ticket's worth at the chocolate fountain... but I didn't want to look like a pig .

I went too and got up early expecting it to be crowded and full of vendors. I was happy with the vendors that were there, but it was a LOT smaller than I expected too. The layout was NOTHING like the floor plan they showed online. I wanted to leave and come back, but the parking ticket was not valid for re-entry so I couldn't even do that. I wasn't thrilled with the whole thing. Oh, they totally didn't check my pre-reg either. I could have not even paid and just got in. It was definitely less than I expected. I told WM that I wasn't booked either to get a tote as well, but it didn't work. They gave me a menu instead, but I did scam a tote later. LOL! Hey, they were cute totes-I had to do it.
