brides that booked first hall they saw....

any regrets? we booked smcc practically on the spot b/c the price was right and we loved the whole atmosphere. but then we went to my sisters wedding at wm and it was great there. the food, the place, everything. i wouldn't have booked there, but just to get an idea.

i'm not looking to change my hall now, just airing my regrets. anyone else?

We only looked at Giorgio's and we have no regrets. I love the hall and the service! I think they really know how to make a couple feel 'special' even though they are amongst hundreds of other brides and grooms.

yes.....me!!! leonard's was first and last place i looked at.......and i booked it......i don't regret it.....i know there is A LOT of beautifull hals out there but i think mine is the O N E

no regrets here :) i don't let myself think about what-ifs and such, i am so focused on my wedding at atlantis and how unique its going to be, and i forget about any worries associated with not looking elsewhere first. if you went with your gut, you will be happy! ~lacey

I only looked at Lombardi' s on the Sound and I have no regrets. I knew I wanted to be on the water and we fell in love with it from the minute we walked in. I have been to a lot of weddings though so I have seen a lot of places to compare it to. I loved Westbury Manor when I went to a wedding there 4 years ago but it is too far from me.

I have regrets. I should've done more research and looked at a few more places (Sans Souci was the 2nd) That being said, I know that my wedding will be different, which is why I picked it in the first place. Try to focus on why you picked the hall.

No regrets, although I haven't been to more than 1 wedding since we booked! But we chose our place with very good reasons- price, they have a stage, the look of the room, and the fact that they are very accomodating! So we are very happy w/ our choice!

My best friend (one my bridesmaids) got married there and I loved it!! The BM was great and on top of everything and I loved the reception room. It was a great wedding!

Only looked at Giorgios. Booked it before we actually met with them and saw it!!

And I couldn't be happier with it and the people that work there!

I LOVED GIORGIO'S THE FIRST TIME WE SAW IT... NO REGRETS I LOVE IT AND WOULD NEVER CHOOSE A DIFFERENT SITE, PLUS THE PEOPLE ARE SO NICE THERE WHY LOOK ANY FARTHER..............

I booked the first hall I saw and then I left and lost my deposit. I really never thought about an outside area. I was just so excited I jumped on it. Then when I realized my hall didnt have one, I had to find something else. I just was so excited.. I jumped on it and didnt think it through.

I think all the wedding talk can make you feel like your wedding is not big enough or your dress is not poofy enough. I think it is only natural to question your decisions, just remember why you picked your hall to begin with!!

I understand exactly what you are saying. It's not that your not happy, but you think maybe you should've shopped around a little more...even if just to solidify your decision to book the first one you saw.

I really love the SMCC- funny enough had we not booked WM, we probably would have booked there.

you are getting a GREAT place for an UNBELIEVABLE price...but we wouldn't be human if our eye didn't wander from time to time!

I actually booked the first hall I looked at but did look at 3 others, then returned to the first one. Sometimes you just know. I went to look at other halls to see what was being offered, compare prices, etc.

we only looked at one because we knew as soon as we walked in the door that was the only place for us...absolutely no regrets whatsoever!

We booked the first hall we saw too because when FH and I walked in there we just knew that was the place we would have to have it. Sometimes I do wonder if things would've been different at another hall but I think that's normal and I know I ultimately made the right decision.

The Estate at East Wind was the first Hall we looked at but we still looked at a few more and none compared...Our wedding day was magical because of the atmosphere and staff....If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't do one thing differently!!!!
