Bridesmaid Dress/ Color -- Opinions, please

Hi there-
This is my first time posting pics, so I hope I do it right. (the pics are at the bottom)

OK, the style of bm dresses that we're getting is the one shown in Cranberry (with the bow and split skirt overlay).

I'm leaning towards this teal color for the dress, though, because my fave color is green; FH's is blue and this color is like a blend of those two colors--so I like the metaphor.

The problem is that I can't get a picture of the dress in the teal, and the store also didn't have any samples in any styles in the teal because it's a newly added color.

So, what do you think? Will the dress with the bow look good in this teal color?

Also, do you think the teal will look good on blondes? (our cousins are pale-skinned with naturally light, light blonde hair).

Has anyone been to a store that features sample dresses in this teal color?

Thanks. I'd be interested to get your reactions to the color in general.

I think it would look great in teal! And I like your reasoning behind that color! Good for you!

(Oddly enough, at my best friends wedding, our dresses were the one on the left in cranberry) What are the chances?

waterspout4, that is SO funny that you wore the other dress in the cranberry!!! I think that dress is gorgeous also, and I also love the cranberry color.

Teal is a great color for blondes!!!! I like the style of the cranberry dress better than the green one.

I think the fact that you have the other similar dress in the teal color should make you feel better. I think it's a pretty color... and I love that the color itself is a 'compromise' of your favorite colors! Very pretty dress!

The teal is a very pretty color and as a fair skinner person- I think it would look great on fair or darker skins and hair colors. Actually I bet that color would look beautiful with cranberry colored flowers!!
