Country Garden Wedding
I would love to have a country garden wedding, plaid tablecloths and all, but is there any sites on Long Island that would be appropriate? We don`t have to go with the traditional reception hall, we could do something off grounds somewhere and have a caterer. It could get pricey though, especially if we have to get a tent. I would really like the outdoors with no tent, but summer weather on Long Island is very unpredictable. Any suggestions? Central Long Island would be the best location since people will be coming from Eastern and Western Long Island. The church is located in East Northport. We are thinking about 150-200 guests. Thanks for you help. Courtney

You might try the county parks departments. One place that I cant think of off the top of my head is the Nassau County Museaum - beautiful grounds. Hope this helps

I was going to say the same thing! Try Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn - I used to work for a caterer that had a few weddings there, and they were beautiful. The cocktail hour was inside, with all the artwork on the walls, and the reception was outside under a tent.

If you want the catering hall thing, try Eastwind in Wading River (EastwindCaterers.com) I'm having my reception in the Country Gardens facilty there, no plaid, but very pretty gardens & country likesetting!!

If you are looking for the perfect spot for an outdoor garden wedding then look no more. My fiance and I are getting married at the Vineyard Caterers in Aquebogue. We visited almost 30 places from Oheka castle to gourneys in Montauk and The Vineyard was BY FAR the most beautifull place we have ever seen. It is entirely different from any other place we have ever seen over looking acres and acres of vineyard grounds and beautiful gardens and waterfalls. The place is absolutely stunning.Welcome New Vendors
