First Anniversary plans?

First Anniversary plans?

I know for many of us our first anniversary is months away, and for others it has past...

But what kind of plans did/do you have?

We're hoping to go away for a few days at least. It all depends on our schedule this summer... We're moving, and DH is starting an internship, and i will be starting a new job... and then we have a wedding on august 12... so it all depends on where everything falls.

I think we'll at least take a long weekend to ocean city or something though.

We plan on going to the place we went on our HM. They have a HM & Anniversary package...nice upgrades too...especially since our HM & Anniversary are on the off season.

we can't go anywhere during our actual anniversary date b/c DH isn't allowed to take off in November (it's their busiest time of year)

we'll figure something out though!

We are hoping to go away - have to see how the $ situation is but ultimately we would love to go to St. Lucia to celebrate.

we really haven't given it much thought. i know we would love to go back to the poconos. once you're there 3 x's, you'll be in the forever lovers club

Since we had to change our HM plans 3 days before the wedding and ended up not going to Paris.

Our plan is to go to Paris for our anniversary.

We just got a quote from our travel agent for the Four Seasons in Nevis. I already asked for time off, now my DH just needs to make sure he can take off.

Dream: A week in San Francisco and Napa Valley. If it does not happen this anniversary, it will happen next. We have never been!

Most likely: One week road trip to Southern cities we have not seen since moving down here. Savannah, Charleston, and Atlanta.

We would love to go away, but probably won't be able to since we'll be at new jobs and money will be tight. I'm thinking of a weekend at the Fairmont Lake Oconee or Ritz in Atlanta.

It's funny, DH and I were just discussing this because he received an email from the husband of the couple we met on our honeymoon cruise and they have booked the same cruise for this September and asked us to do the same. It turns out that the Celebrity ship we cruised on, the Zenith, is making her last Bermuda cruise that week and the cruise line is having this special celebration in honor of her. We are really considering going.

Well, if I go two weeks late with this kid, my first anniversary will be spent pushing her out!

So let's hope THAT doesn't happen! I'm a little sad because we were going to go away for our anniversary, but now I'm pretty sure we'll just do nothing, as we'll have a 2 week old infant on our hands.

We'll actually be at a friends wedding on our anniversary! The wedding is in Phili, so we'll make a long weekend of it.
