I Booked My Photographer!!!

I booked my Photographer and could not be happier! I was originally going to book Mark Kauffman Studios (with Lynn and Mark) but met with someone else and totally clicked with her! Her name is Maria Celeste and her work is amazing! If you like Photojournalism/Candids and favor Black & Whites then you need to check her out! Maria doesn't really offer 'packages,' reason being is that she doesn't think that you can order an album w/ a specific number of pictures in it or enlargements without first seeing how the pictures came out. For example, a picture may look amazing as a 5X6, but horrible blown up to a 11X14. It makes sense if you think about it. Her whole focus is more on the photography and the artistic aspect of the photos. I guess it stems back to her not just being a 'wedding photographer.' Her day rate is $2875 and that includes 8 hours of work, 600 (approx.) proofs, black & white and/or color film, and you get to keep all of the proofs and negatives. She does sell albums and enlargements but it is not mandatory to purchase them. If you choose to purchase an album, it runs different prices depending on which one you choose.

From meeting with her twice, I can tell you that she is extremely sweet and laid back. She IS NOT a pushy, salesperson type (which I hate!)!!! She made my Fiance and I feel completely comfortable and we feel 100% confident in our decision to book her. I cannot say enough great things about her!
