Great idea! The old one was really dated and you had to click through so many of the pages to get to the recent posts!

It can't hurt to ask!! Give them a call but they are very strict about letting people change either the ceremony site or cocktail hour when it does not match their room due to the fact that if there is another wedding at Fox Hollow, they try to keep the parties far apart (so you aren't taking pictures at the same time/ place or running into another bride on your day) and they make sure the starting times do not interfere. If I were you, I'd ask because the ceremony site is BEAUTIFUL! I was lucky enough to have booked in the Briar Fox room with the outdoor ceremony but had my party moved to the Somerley since they were no longer using the Briar Fox for receptions. I was able to keep the ceremony site since we were already slated to be in the other room at the time. Good luck!!

Hey girls, here is some info I got recently. If you want to do lighting or use the tvs, you have to strictly go with Body Rock for that. Even if you use another DJ company, you still need to hire Body Rock if you want the lighting/uplighting or use of the tvs. I guess they own the equipment and won't allow other companies to use it.

I had my wedding in the Somerley and had my ceremony outside. Call and ask if the space is available!

Ahhh really!! Which space the smaller or larger? Because who uses the large one in the back now anyway? And how did u get into the somerley for cocktail hour? Walk around the building?

My ceremony was in the area between the Inn and the hall. We took some pictures during the cocktail hour and then went in the main entrance and took the elevator up to the cocktail hour. Our guests had the choice to go in the main entrance (using the elevator or steps) or walk around to the Somerley doors.

Re: New fox hollow thread
Yay! So happy to have a Fox Hollow thread.I have to say I am a little frustrated with Fox Hollow right now. When we booked the Somerley (Pre-construction) they told us about the TV's and how great that was instead of having a package with the DJ where they have to supply bulky TV's. Now, they are telling my in order to work the TV's we have to book a technician with their chosen vendor (not my DJ who is another one of their preferred vendors)because the equipment can't be just handled by anyone. This was an expense I was not counting on- and I don't want to not utilize the TV's and have them blank or with a generic background all night. Any of you girls having this problem too?

Re: New fox hollow thread
Nope! It was not a problem at all! Since we had the hospitality before the ceremony everyone knew where they were supposed to go, plus the staff led everyone to the room. I got tons of compliments on the room, Somerley is gorgeous!!!

Re: New fox hollow thread
This is interesting. This was never mentioned to me when I was told about the lighting a few weeks ago. They made it seem like it was a free add on. Do you know how much body rock wants to charge for the lighting? TV's?

When I booked I was under the same impression, and was a little annoyed that it had to be purchased as an add on. Lighting is either $750 or starts at that. TVs are also $750, but they did mention to me they may be able to work on the price if you only want to use for just the photo montage and not the whole zap shots package.

Re: New fox hollow thread
That is absurd. I have already booked my DJ, who is not a preferred vendor, so does that mean he can't bring his own lighting or TV's that you now have to use theirs?

Re: New fox hollow thread
No I think a dj can bring there own stuff but they just can't use body rocks lighting...they put a lot in the room so they prolly want u to use there's since there's more then what a dj would bring....I thinkk???Welcome New Vendors
