ordering invitations online or not?

i'm trying to figure out invitations and was wondering what the benefit was to ordering them online. what places offer the greatest discounts? I met with a women who discounts 30% can i beat that online? just wondering, thanks in advance ladies.

I ordered mine online. It was convenient and they came within 10 days. I was pleased.

Online I found to be cheaper prices, not necessarily cheaper quality. We just didn't want to sit there and thumb through all those huge catalogs, so this was easier for us. We went to Exclusively Weddings and ordered ours. We were even able to get samples ahead of time, so we could compare card stocks and stuff.

I'm ordering online...it's just alot easier to see so many different choices quicker...and you can receive free samples in the mail on the ones you like...

I'm using Theresa from everythingbutthebride.com

and you will see discounts anywhere from 25-45% from online invitation shops..

I did not order my invites on-line. I ordered about 10 samples and hated every single one! So I opted to go to someone in person. I already did the research on-line, so I knew what styles we liked already, which made it easier going through the books. I also got a 30% discount and Invitations by Cathy--Sweet Nut Hut. She is great and easy to work with.

I'd rather not order mine online, I'd rather just go and deal with someone in person, this way i know exactly what i'm getting, and when i get them they can show me the correct order of placing them in, especially if theirs a sequence involved with them...

I ordered mine from Precious collection and got the same invitation for about 30% less than they were selling them for in the Regency catalog.

I would def order online, but I would DEF order a sample from that vendor beforehand.. sometimes things look alot better online than they do in person.. Good luck!

I found my invites here as well. I ordered a sample from them and I liked it. I would defintely order online just get a sample first so you are not getting flimsy, notebook paper.

I ordered mine online. I ordered them from Evangel.com. I got samples from about 10 different websites and finally found one that I loved. Definitely order the samples because like the ladies said, a bunch of them came and they were very different from the pictures and of poor quality.
