i was in a bad mode when i wrote the last questions and just reread it and it sucks soo heres a slightly better one lol

Saturdays used to be a day to sleep in and relax/recover from Friday nights, and the whole week.

Re: **QOTD #2 (since the other one is alil out there lol) 10-22-11**

5 years ago I was 24yrs old and like clockwork and no planning through out the week either i would go to my friends house at 11:00 to start pregaming and be in the city by 12-12:30 drinking and dancing away. At 3-3:30 when me and FH would usually meet up and then go home. Saturdays were ment for sleeping in, usually around 12-1pm we would finally make it outta bed and try to do something with the rest of the weekend.

fast forward to now...

Friday nights
unless me and my girls spent the last month finding a friday we are all free i will be home watching whatever wedding show is on TLC while working on a DIY task. and saturday would be a do whatever day, but waking up at a normal time
if me and my girls did spend the last month planning a girls night, we would go out to a bar in the city and pretend we are still young, until we have to wake up the next morning and realize we are not lol

LOL me too! 5 years ago, I was living in Chicago. I lived above a gay bar, lol! My girlfriends and I were always out drinking, dancing, or getting in trouble. I was always out to at least 2 and sometimes 4 or 5 when the bars closed. One thing I did then, that I wish I still did is go to see a lot of concerts, theater and gallery openings. I was very busy with that kind of stuff. Saturdays, I would recover most of the day and then do it again! On Sundays we would most usually go to get a good greasy brunch at this place called the Melrose.

Now: I watch wedding shows, relax, lesson plan, and spend some quiet time with my FH. We hang out with friends (always around dinner time, lol)

Re: **QOTD #2 (since the other one is alil out there lol) 10-22-11**

5 years ago I was a sophomore in college so much different than living in the city with my fiance! I'd probably go to dinner with my roommates and friends and then have a party in our apartment or go another apartment or visit another school for the night. Sat mornings were spent sleeping in, getting breakfast completely hungover and then laying low on the couch with my girlfriends.

Now Friday nights we're exhausted after working 40+ hours a week so we spend the night catching up with the DVR and falling asleep on the couch! Sat mornings we either lay in bed for awhile and then relax together on the couch or we get right up and go to the gym.

Re: **QOTD #2 (since the other one is alil out there lol) 10-22-11**

5 years ago I had just started dating FH and we would spend our Friday nights going out with friends and staying up late. We would stay out until 3 or 4 in the morning and sleep all Saturday.

Now, Friday nights are us having a drink after dinner and going to bed early! Last night I fell asleep at 7:30! lol

Re: **QOTD #2 (since the other one is alil out there lol) 10-22-11**

Oh what a depressing question

5 years ago I was 21 and staying out til all hours of the night, usually drinking and whatnot. I was single so I pretty much did whatever I wanted. I would sleep in on Saturdays and then do it all over again.

Now, It's a date night pretty much. FH and I will either do double date nights with friends or go to a movie alone. We might catch up on TV shows. We're usually in bed by midnight or so.

I love my friday nights with FH and am definitely a more low key person now (I was kidding about the depressing part)! Just makes you realize how much priorities change!!

Re: **QOTD #2 (since the other one is alil out there lol) 10-22-11**

On this exact day 5 years ago I was 23 and was still single (for at least a few more weeks lol) so I'd def. be out Fri & Sat nights in the city until ungodly hours of the night/morning (yes, morning). Saturday & Sunday mornings were non-existent to me since I'd usually wake up around 12/1 lolol

Now...

Friday nights I'm usually in bed by 9pm (unless I actually do make plans) and Saturday mornings consist of running errands and grad school (on the weekends I do have grad school). If I stay by FH on Friday night, we'll watch tv together & we usually make breakfast together Saturday morning and then run errands & of course do wedding stuff!

Re: **QOTD #2 (since the other one is alil out there lol) 10-22-11**

I was 15, almost 16 years old five years ago..and had just moved to NY from FL. FH and I were already dating for over a year at this point. My Friday nights probably consisted of spending the night at a friends house and 'sneaking out' to drink ...Saturday mornings were spent sleeping in!. Now...my Friday nights consist of chasing a toddler around trying to clean and cook dinner and I'll be lucky if I get to wake up past 9am on Saturday!!. Lot of change in a short amount of time!

Re: **QOTD #2 (since the other one is alil out there lol) 10-22-11**

Going out to the bars, hanving out with the girls. Pretty carefree. i was out of college 2 years and enjoyed working in downtown manhattan

Now its usually me and FH doing a food shopping after work on a Friday. Saturday we dont get to sleep in the doggies usually have us up a 8. We run errands, clean, and hang out. Nothing too $$$ bc of the wedding budget

I was hanging out late, staying over other people's houses and getting in so much trouble with my mother. Also I worked weekends and was studying alot.
