Silk vs Real Flowers

what is the reply on this topic???

I lean to slik as they last through
out the wedding day & beyond

Todays slik are very close to real
in feel & touch.

Re: Silk vs Real Flowers

Even though mine died from the frigid cold, I still wanted the real. I agree with you though, the silk do look very real. There used to be a girl on here who used silk for allergic reasons and in her pics you would never have known the difference.

I like real...No i really don't think silk is the same...they definately don't have the scent.

Plus i really don't want the flowers anyway, after the wedding..So having them last for the day is just fine.
If you want your bouquet to last then maybe use fake for just that

Re: Silk vs Real Flowers

We're using silk. It just seems like so much $$ to have something die a week later and silk flowers really are much better quality than they used to be. We finished our centerpieces last week and dont' have to worry about them for the next 2 1/2 months!! Plus I think the nice thing about it is that you know you'll have it to put in your house to always be able to look at it and remind you of your wedding...we did a floral wreath w/ a hurricane lamp and pillar candle and will keep one on our dining room table and hang one in our bedroom
