Would you change a registry item (major)?

I saw other Pfaltzgraff dishes that seemed interesting and I'm afraid FH might like them better...no one has bought anything yet....

Would you ever change a major item on your registry?

Re: Would you change a registry item (major)?

I might have to. Half of our casual china was bought already (we didn't register for formal) and we got something from Macy's saying that they are having trouble getting the accessories (serving bowls and platters and whatnot) from Mikasa and suggest that we come in and pick a new pattern. I'm really ticked off since that means we have to pick all new ones and we have to return the ones already purchased for us.

Re: Would you change a registry item (major)?

Why wouldn't you change if no one has bought anything yet? Get what you want!!!

Re: Would you change a registry item (major)?

Definately get what you want!!! Especially if nobody has bought anything. This opportunity only come once (having people buy us all these gifts!) So get exactly what you want while you can.

I have changed a bunch of stuff on my registry! Go for it! But I would do it sooner than later if you are going to make changes.

Re: Would you change a registry item (major)?

We did!! We decided to change our regular drinking glasses. We found out after we switched that my sister had bought them already but they were never marked off on the registry. She was really cool about it, though, and she didn't mind when we went and exchanged them. And Bed Bath & Beyond was awesome. They couldn't give us money, but they were really nice about letting us exchange.

Re: Would you change a registry item (major)?

I've changed my formal china selection several times.

I agree with everyone else -- as long as nothing was purchased, go for it and get what you want!

I agree with everyone that as long as nothing was purchased then I would make the change. We have changed several items since we registered too.

Re: Would you change a registry item (major)?

sure, remember to register your pattern with pfaltzgraff. You get coupons and sales. There are 2 outlets in Riverhead and Bellport. They have a lot of other pieces that the stores don't carry. Also, check out ebay.

Re: Would you change a registry item (major)?

Definitely change it if you like it better. I changed my registry so many times in the beginning because I found stuff I liked better. Even if somebody bought you something, you can still return it down the road if you find something better. The stores are really good with returns if you buy something else.
