Experience Tip help needed

Hi - I need some advice from someone who has been there. What am I suppose to tip? The dj and mc, photo and asst, video and asst, bartenders at the hall etc. My wedding is Saturday and I wanted to start my envelopes tonight. Please help.

Hi Mineola It is Rob's parish Corpus Christi Church. I cant wait to be sitting in Tahiti sipping a drink out of a coconut.

I can't believe your wedding is Saturday? Anyway, I tipped my photographer 60.00, DJ 50.00, Video 60.00. Maitre De' 300.00. Give what you feel at the end of the night. Set up a budget and then tip according to how your night went. You may want to wait it out and see. Just be prepared. I had less to pay my vendors because I was a Friday afternoon, but they all seemed happy with a tip, I think! Are you all set?

Pretty much. Just the little details. Thank God I am off Thurs and Friday. I have so many errands to run (and my new car is on the blitz) I am going to set up envelopes but leave them open incase I want to add or take out. Did you tip $60 for photo and asst each or $30 and $30? Everyone has an asst.
If they are unable to come on three separate dates, then I will, have 'killed' them with our kindess...and say I guess we are Christmas card cousins after all.

I only had Photo, no assistant. You should, in that case, tip the assistant only. The photographer is being paid.

Just wanted to wish you luck on Saturday. My reception was married at Timber Point last Sept. You will have a great time. About the tipping, I don't remember exactly what we paid everyone, but I know we gave Steve the Maitre Dee a really good tip (I'm thinking like $200) because he was so wonderful. He took care of every need for us without even having to ask.

Please let us know how Tahiti was - It was my first choice for honeymoon, but it was too long of a trip to take.
