It's like watching HGTV house hunters and I am like WHERE IS THIS that people are getting these huge gorgeous NEW houses for what I paid for my 1BR coop in queens!!

We're house hunting right now and seeing the cost (plus the taxes!) is so scary!! We want a nice house in a great area..but its gonna cost us

Without my parents help there's no way we'll be able to afford a house for years and years...

I feel the same way, especially since I had to cut to part time work and most of my money that I make goes to doctor bills.

DH & I are looking to re-locate off the Island. Sadly, I don't see a home for us here, really.

Same situation. I have tp get my health back before even considering owning TTC. Its so frustrating. DH works so hard. We just try to stay optimistic and save when we can. Definitely cant imagine paying LI taxes. We r in queens so we are thinking as close to the nassau border without being in nassau. I know we could own of we moved out of state but FHs businesses are based in queens/li so its not realistic at this time.
