it figures

So I went on 3 interviews for a job a few weeks ago and they finally call me to tell me they offered the job to someone else. And of course there was a 'but' and they tell me feedback was so strong on me and they felt I was too qualified.

It figures, I nail the interviews, love who I meet and I'm TOO qualified :( now I'm stuck in my job with my crazy psycho boss. Sucks. I got so excited when I saw their # pop up too. :(

I really wish she wouldn't have said the feedback was so strong. Its like, thanks for fluffing it for me.

I'm just trying now to cry on the lirr!

that's the worst... the hardest part about interviewing is imagining your future life in the new job, what it would be like, and then if you don't get it, it's like bursting the happy little bubble you've created. i hope something great comes your way soon!

Linzeeeeee really summed it up well! I'm so sorry - chin up and don't get too down. Stuff like this is such a let down and so disappointing...but try to focus on other opportunities!
