Spin-off to Jamaica Thread / Girls that have been to Sandals...
Who's done the Candle-light dinner on the beach? I'm tempted to surprise hubby with it when we're in Jamaica. Is it that spectacular that it's worth the extra $$$?

If it's anything like the one that my DH planned for us in Cabos, it's TOTALLY worth the extra dough.

I think it's worth it for that price, I mean does it include wine/champagne and 3 course dinner? Just wondering.

It does, but Sandals is an all inclusive resort so food and alcohol are free to begin with.
I've never been to Sandals, but the private beach dinners at Couples didn't seem to be worth the price IMO. They looked pretty and everything and maybe it's just the date we were there (9/10/11) but there was a table about ever 50 feet on the beach and it was 50 feet from the sidewalk. It just didn't seem very private or secluded to me.

DH and I did it on our HM...It was a romantic thing to do, they do make it a special experience. DH and I both felt that the food was SO much better than at the regular places to eat...
would I do it again... probably not. It was great to do for the 1st time and worth the money and experience...but I woudn't do it a 2nd time.
