The Cake

So I had DH put the top of our cake in the refridgerator around 1pm then around 3pm we took it out. Think it's defrosted enought to eat??? We've had such a horrible run of luck (fire, DH being laid off, etc.) that we are hoping if we consume this cake our luck will turn around. DH has also suggested that our dogs partake in this ritual as well.

So, think it's ready to eat????

I was ready to order dessert at our Anniversary Dinner tonight and DH actually said, what about our wedding cake??? I could have cried right then and there. He can be so adorable sometimes.

He's snoozing on and off right now. I'm going to finish this bottle of wine and wake him up for cake. Gosh I hope it's as good as it was that day.

Okay, smiley face on the opk.....
Cake was really good, but the whip cream was a little stiff. The canolli and strawberry were delish. We shared it with our furry babies too.

Fingers crossed that the baby dance worked and I'll be sporting a baby bump at the NW Luncheon.
