I agree with pretty much all the ones that you girls wrote.

YOUS instead of YOU is a huge one for me...

And for some reason everyone in my union (Local 3) says 'tree' instead of 'three'...

i especially hate 'ax' ... my co-worker 'axs' me questions all the time and i cringe each time

but the thing i can't stand most is when i see 'should of' written instead of 'should have'

I say that. I can't say ask.. it comes out either ax or ax-kuh.
I blame my speech problems from when I was younger.. it was always a word I couldn't say.

I actually have a speech problem, I had to have a special speech teacher as a child. I can't pronounce 's' and 'k' correctly, like in the word 'ask'...someone mentioned library, i can only say 'li-berry' My friends just say I have my own language, lol. But as a child I was teased a lot and even now if someone corrects me I kind of get upset because they just think I'm an idiot but its because I have a speech problem.

I know how you feel.. I had to go to speech therapy for K-5.. it was so embarrassing.. you'd have to leave class in the middle of a lesson to go to speech, and everyone knew.
I didn't talk for a while. now I never shut up, but my words do come out wrong... I try and cover it up by talking really fast (think six from blossom.. but faster).. but sometimes I think its obvious to people.
And now that my ear is acting up again... my speech is just getting worse.

yep same here, i hated being pulled out of class. and its funny b/c i tend to talk really fast as well!! it does stink and everyday i still have little problems here and there. i just hate being corrected by people.
